Here at the Vale of Lune, our people are our most valuable asset. Whilst some roles are rightly salaried, many more are carried out by volunteers, people who are willing to give their time, skills and enthusiasm to this community.
Being a volunteer does not mean taking on a burden. Most activities are done by pairs or small teams, all stepping up to support each other in order to make all of the component parts of the Vale run smoothly. If you feel that you can join the many generous individuals already turning the cogs, even if it is merely to cover for someone who is on holiday, please contact Barry Lees, or any other member of the board of directors.
It is the volunteers who form the beating heart of this club. Perhaps you could be a part of that. Among the roles on offer are;
Matchday gatekeeper (Taking admission payment)
Grounds duties (Changing rooms, flags and pads, etc.)
Line judge (Assisting referee)
After match raffle ticket selling
Archive keeper (Updating player appearance records)
Assistant scoreboard keeper
