We at the Vale would like to thank you all for all the help and donations we have received so far from so many of you. We have been informed that Sport England have just started a new fundraising initiative, designed to help us through these difficult times and to improve our facilities for all our members, friends and the wider community when we return. This scheme is different as it allows us to offer rewards in return for a donation and in addition Sport England have advised us that if we reach our target of £7000, your contribution will be matched enabling us to double our money, what a generous offer. If you’ve not seen how things are progressing please have a walk down the club at your convenience to see the refurbishment in process in the small bar and the outside decking area, all the labour having been provided by volunteers at the club. At the moment we are hoping to be ready to welcome you all back to the club some time in early July, though obviously we are at the mercy of external powers in that respect.
